Why Focusing on One Thing is the Key to Getting Rich

This past week was a whirlwind but so much fun.

If you follow me on IG, you’ll know that I was in Sundance speaking at Bo Eason’s mastermind, The Best.

And here’s the thing… Bo Eason really is the BEST… and he doesn’t let YOU settle for being anything less than the best either.

Surrounding mySELF with people who push me to be more is one of my SELF Made Secrets.

As Bo said at the event, “I’m retired from small minds and small thinkers.”

Same, Bo. Same.

So, on that note… Zak and I took some time in that beautiful space to talk about our dreams.

We explored how we can get rid of any areas where we’re thinking small.

And as we did this… ONE big thing stood out.

I’ll talk more about that below.

But for now, I invite you to revisit YOUR dreams.

What do you want to do with this one precious life and what do you want to be “the best” at?

What would you do if you weren’t afraid or what would your dreams be if you retired from thinking small?

Because the truth is, life is going to keep on moving.

 Today, tomorrow, the next… they’re gonna come and go.

And you can move with it, in the direction of your dreams, or you can stay still and small.

The choice, as always, is yours.

“There are many paths to mediocrity. There is only one path to your dream.”

Blow me over with a cat whisker.

He’s right. It’s time to focus on the ONE path instead of ALL the paths.

Because focusing on one thing is the key to getting rich.

As Zak and I sat on the balcony in Sundance listening to the creek rush by, it hit me…

I’m doing too many things.

And I thought about the email I sent you last week… about how anytime you say “yes” to something – even the small things – you’re saying “no” to something else.

Or as my mamaw would have said…

“If you chase two rabbits, you’ll not catch either one.” 

And I realized I still have work to do.

So, I got to it.

I got clear on even more things I could say no to – big and small.

I’ve decided to close down some of my offers and simplify others.

I’ve decided to make even MORE room for my dream.

I got even more clarity on what that dream was and why it was so important.

I even got clear on what happens when that dream comes true, because it will.

So… again… I invite you to get clear on YOUR dream.

THEN… think about what you need to say “yes” to and what you need to day “no” to in order to make it come true.
