Two Proven Ways To Grow Your Business in the Next 30 Days

Rain spent the week with her dad so Zak and I had some nice alone time.

We went to a couple of our fave restaurants, had long talks at night by the pool (I’m loving these warm summer nights), and started a 10 Day Couple’s Challenge to strengthen our relationship!

It’s been… a vibe.

And, I miss my girl.

Why is it that as mamas, we never feel like we’re focused on the right thing?

If we’re with our partners, we feel guilty we’re not with the kids or if we’re focused on our business, we feel guilty we’re not with the kids.

If we take time to care for ourSELF, we feel guilty we’re not with the kids.

You see the pattern?

Is it just me?

Ahhhhhhhh! Anywayyyy… if you have answers, let me know because I have NOT figured this out yet.

Who Do You Need to BE to Grow Your Business Faster

This past week I was chatting with a friend, also an entrepreneur, who said to me…

“Cynthia… My business is growing so slowly. I’m doing the work but it’s so frustrating.”

Have you ever felt that way?

It’s as if growing your business is harder than walking through molasses (do people do that? Idk, anyway…).

Look, the truth is, watching your business grow at a snail’s pace can be incredibly frustrating.

And disheartening.

I mean… is it even worth it?

It feels like you’re putting in all this effort with little to show for it.

But did you ever stop to think that maybe that frustration was clouding your vision?

When I sat down with my friend and talked through what was working and what wasn’t, I realized that there was a whole other area of her business she wasn’t talking about… new opportunities.

It’s true!

As I looked at her business, I immediately saw SIX different areas she could monetize that would be less work than the thing she was focused on now. SIX!

You see, there is more than one way to achieve your vision.

But when we get so fixated on the “one way” working, we neglect to see the other opportunities right in front of our faces.

Opportunities that might be easier. More fun. More lucrative.

To help my friend see this, I had to first help her embrace a new identity.

We worked on shifting her mindset to becoming someone who sees new opportunities everywhere. Someone who focuses on what’s working and let’s go of what’s not.

Someone who knows that every challenge is an opportunity for growth.

In just one short hour, she had two new revenue streams that could both be set up in one afternoon.

This would substantially increase her revenue (by at least $15k a month – minimum) AND it’s recurring income.

Win. Win.

How can you step back and shift your identity to become the person who sees new opportunities to grow?

I know you can do this. Spend a little time making it happen!

How to Grow Your Business Faster

Ok so we talked about shifting your mindset to see new opportunities but now let’s dive into strategy.

Here’s some tips to get you started!

1. Identify and Focus on What’s Working

Analyze your business and identify the strategies that are already creating the revenue you want.

Your goal here is to identify the top 20% of activities that bring in 80% of the results. Be ruthless here!

Once you find the 20%, double down on these to grow faster.

For example, if your email marketing campaigns have a high conversion rate, focus more on growing your email list and tweaking your email content to even better meet your audience’s needs.

Make your offers easy to say “yes” to.

2. Explore New Opportunities

Look for new opportunities to grow your business.

This could be new markets, new products, or new partnerships.

It could be adding a 1:1 coaching upgrade to your programs.

Perhaps you could roll clients who purchase your online programs into a group program for recurring revenue?

Can you partner with someone to launch your offer to their list, giving them an affiliate commission for every sale?

Think outside the box here!
