I gotta tell you, I’m loving this peaceful time to reconnect with friends, family, and mySELF.
I’m focusing on next year but also being really present in this one.
I’m looking back at what worked well, what didn’t, and what I want to do differently.
It’s been a vibe.
Rain and I upheld our yearly tradition (12 years and counting!) of seeing The Nutcracker!
And we celebrated the holiday as a family!
It was our first Christmas with Oliver and Bogart and I swear, they gave us life!
They had stockings packed with goodies and got some yummy treats for being such good boys – obvi – and we snuggled them all day long!
We’ve also been watching a ton of holiday movies tradition – Elf! It was especially fun after we had just been in NYC and we got to see so many of the locations live and in person!
Rain had a wonderful time opening gifts and of course, Santa was good to her. 😉
And yes, we had delish brunches and a yummy dinner on Christmas (cause this family knows how to eat) and we’ve just been spending the best time just lounging in our pjs, listening to holiday music, connecting, and celebrating each other.
I love this slower time of year.
It inspires me to make the rest of the year the same way!
Which is why this week, as you are enjoying some slower time, I wanted to pick up where I left off last week with my morning routine.
Yep, if you read last week’s issue, you know I walked you through a detailed peek at my morning routine.
I left off at my million dollar “Start of the Day Routine”.
This is different.
The morning routine is for me and my future self. I take it slow, get in a good workout, and spend time with Rain and Zak before my day starts.
Today, I want to share my million dollar Start of the Day Routine, using the SELF Made System (which is still 50% off for a few more days, btw).

My Million Dollar Start of Day Routine
Ok, so after my SELF Made Morning Routine is complete, I move into my million dollar Start of Day Routine.
THIS routine has been SO key to my success that I had to share it with you.
Let’s get into it!
Step 1: Read My Unapologetic Success Story
I sit in a chair in my office, light a candle, take a deep breath, and read my Unapologetic Success Story—this is where my vision comes to life.
I’II remind myself of where I’m headed, the impact I’m creating, and the legacy I’m building. I read it out loud, like a declaration of what’s already mine.
Because it is if I choose for it to be. And I do.
This takes maybe 3 minutes.
Step 2: Read My Eulogy
Next, I read my eulogy.
I know, morbid. BUT… It’s a reminder that life is short.
And when I read my eulogy, that includes the kind of life I’ve lived, what I did, and the legacy I left for my family, I am on FIRE to make that shit happen!
This takes me maybe 2 minutes but it’s magic.
Step 3: Review My 10-Year, 5-Year, and 1-Year Personal Objectives
I check in with my personal objectives for the next 10, 5, and 1 year.
These are the big goals that make I’m always moving in the right direction, broken down into the 8 key areas of life like Physical Health, Relationships, Finances, and more.
If I don’t know where I’m going, how am I going to get there?
This takes about 3 minutes but it’s so important to keep me on track all day.
Step 4: Read My Unapologetic Goal
Now, this is where shit gets real. I read my Unapologetic Goal—the one thing that will make everything else fall into place.
Now… this is a HUGE goal and completely unrealistic. But I don’t care.
I’m gonna go ahead and make it happen anyway.
By reading it daily, it forces me to think different, act different, and make bolder moves that honestly, I probably wouldn’t make.
It takes 60 seconds but the impact lasts all day.
Step 5: Read My Iconic Identity Statements
Now that I’m questioning my sanity after reading my Unapologetic Goal, I choose 3 Iconic Identity Statements that remind me who the fuck I am and that I’ve got this.
These are affirmations of the highest version of mySELF—the person who’s unapologetically living her dream life and capable of creating everything she wants. I embody the identity of someone who’s already achieved their goals, and with each statement, I feel more powerful, confident, and ready to take action.
Step 6: Fill out my SELF Made Planner Pages
Now, I fill out my SELF Made Daily Planner, which includes everything I need to focus on for the day:
- I choose the tasks that moves me closer to my Unapologetic Goal and I schedule my three Identity-Based Time Blocks to get it done.
- Next, I write down my Secondary Tasks. These are things that support your other goals or Personal Objectives but aren’t the focus.
- Then, I choose three things I’ll do for SELF Care when. One is always my workout so assuming I got it in, I’m already winning!
All of this takes 5 minutes, tops.
Step 7: I get to it!
I check in with my assistant, review any important updates from my team, and start on my first Identity-Based Time Block task!
I feel relaxed, peaceful, and clear as crystal on exactly what I need to do to be successful – not just with work but my life.
9:00 AM
By 9 AM, I’ve already set myself up for a productive, fulfilling, and powerful day.
I have time scheduled to get work done, support my team, and care for mySELF. I take regular breaks for reconnecting with Zak, delving into my art or other creative pursuit, and white space for thinking and reflecting.
Everything – EVERY thing – is aligned with who I’m becoming. I don’t waste time and as a result, I have plenty of it.
My future self is guiding my every move. There’s no guessing, no decision fatigue. The work I do today is building the life I’m meant to live.
I’m no longer working hard to make things happen—I’m living the life I designed, effortlessly
