Wait… Is it really only 3 days until Christmas?
This year has flown by!
Ok, focus, Cynthia… so… good morning!
I’m just sitting outside in a cozy sweater, sipping an almond milk latte, thinking about YOU.
To be honest, I was thinking about mySELF earlier… planning for the new year, thinking about my plans for the business, the trips I want to take next year with my family, and the downtime I’m scheduling in.
And THAT’S when I started thinking about you.
I see so many people who are excited for a new year, ready to take on the world and finally, FINALLY make their dreams come true.
And right around the end of January, that’s all faded away.
And they find themselves living the same life they lived last year. Still saying… “one day…”.
I don’t want that to happen to you.
That’s why for the past couple of weeks I’ve been talking about creating your Future Self.
I’ve been walking you through the WHO to get clear on who you have to be to reach your goals. You know… to have the business, the money, the relationships, and ultimately the life you want.
And I told you that THIS week, we would get into the HOW.
Now that you know who you need / want to be, let’s talk about how you can make it happen.
It starts with your morning routine. I knowwwww… you think you’ve heard this. But not the way I’m about to tell it.
You see, everything I do is based on the identity of my future self.
It has been the secret to my success and now I want to share it with you.
So… we’re gonna do this in two parts, ok?
Today, I’m going to take you through my actual morning routine.
Then, next week I’m going to share my Start of Day Routine.
Yes, they’re different. Yes, it’s for a reason.

My SELF Made Morning Routine
Most people don’t plan their morning intentionally (someone had to say it).
They just roll out of bed (after hitting snooze a few times) and unconsciously just go through the usual motions – pulling out their phone, stumbling to get coffee, and falling into old patterns.
A good morning routine will pull you out of this Groundhog’s Day routine and allow you to step into the Identity of your Future Self so you can create a life and career so good you’re only jealous of yourSELF!
This is my current morning routine.
Sometimes I nail it, other times… not so much. But what I never miss doing is what happens at 8:45 am.
It allows me to rehearse the day as my Future Self which means I’m intentionally becoming that person instead of randomly setting goals, hoping I reach them.

5:00 AM
I wake up at 5 AM—before the world gets loud, before the distractions start rolling in. It’s just me, my dreams, and the quiet hum of possibility. I feed and pat the kitties and immediately make coffee if Zak hasn’t already done it for me (marry someone who makes you coffee).
I typically drink a double shot americano with freshly ground beans. I’m obsessed with my Breville. Sometimes I’ll froth in some MCT powder.
I almost always drink my coffee outside to connect with nature. It’s my time to breathe deeply and soak in the energy of the day. Plus, it helps me wake up!
5:15 AM
Next, I make sure I’m centered and grounded by using the SELF Made Meditation. It dials my mindset all the way in and reminds me who the fuck I am.
It also helps me set my intentions for the day. Once I’ve connected to my future self, I am ready to make shit happen.
5:30 AM
Then, I take my morning supplements (currently vitamin D, B complex, Mitopure, NAC, and NAD+) with a big glass of Longevity Mix from Bryan Johnson).
I head to the gym (which is in my home, since I really don’t like going to gyms) and move my body – even when I don’t want to. Which, lets be honest, is most days.
Whether it’s cardio on the elliptical, a walk in my neighborhood before the world is awake, weight training, or some yoga—workouts are non-negotiable because my future self is healthy and energized AF! I typically listen to a podcast during this time and/or post to social stories.
6:00 AM
After my sweat session, I head back to the kitchen and make a quick protein shake (vanilla protein, half a banana, strawberries or kale and blueberries, and almond milk) to fuel up. I check to make sure Rain is up for school and then jump into the shower. This is my sacred time to rinse off, refresh, and get ready for the day.
Then, it’s on to my skincare routine. It varies but it’s typically a mild cleaner, a hydrating toner, an antioxidant serum like vitamin C, a lightweight moisturizer, and most importantly, sunscreen. I’m especially loving collagen face masks and if I’m not doing makeup that day, I’ll toss one on after I get out of the shower.
Afterward, I dress and get ready, putting on the outfit my future self would (what you wear is so important to how you should up during the day).
6:50 AM
Then, it’s time for school drop-off! I help Rain gather anything she needs, make her a hot breakfast (if she doesn’t want to get it at school), and we’re off!
8:45 AM
I’m back and ready to get into it!
I’ve spent the first part of my morning nurturing my mind, body, and spirit, and now it’s time to dive into the SELF Made Planner System.
This is my roadmap for the day, my guide to getting closer to my Unapologetic Goal, and the tool that makes everything feel effortless.
